It is with great regret that WDHS is cancelling all AHF 2020 events, activities or programs that are organised for the general public due to the evolving impact of COVID-19. While it is a very difficult decision to make. Our top priority is the health and welfare of event organisers, volunteers, and the community. We thank you for your understanding.

Join Werribee District Historical Society Lance Pritchard as he discusses his examination of the termination point the Hume & Hovell expedition at Werribee River . Werribee Heritage Talk Vision : building strong partnerships with communities to celebrate their natural, historic and heritage, and to engage lovers of heritage and new audiences with the stories of our past and present so they may be preserved for the future. Engaging with local historians, people can explore the stories, people, and places that have contributed to the history of the area .

Come on a journey with Werribee District Historical Society Lance Pritchard to see and hear about Werribee's remarkable long history.Join us in exploring a snapshot of Werribee City Centre Heritage Trail and it's surrounds from the 1800's to the present day. Visitors can explore the origins and history of Werribee through its streets and sites. Guided and walking tours of landscapes, significant places and communities with fascinating histories (Watton Street - Synnot Street)
The track is for walkers only, due to the nature of the Track route is not widely used by people with physical disabilities, however, the track between the Wedge St. Piazza and Chirnside Park is designed to be wheelchair and pram accessible. Additionally, Wedge St Piazza – Wyndham Art Gallery/ Cultural Centre has wheelchair access, an accessible shelter and accessible toilet.

At Werribee Museum, visitors will have the rare opportunity to view photographs and artefacts that are not normally on display to the public. Adopting the theme of Connecting People, Places and the Past. Werribee's local resident Esther Murray artworks exhibition will celebrate the journey and growth of Werribee historical buildings, homesteads and local heritage.
